Jack is a 10 year educator with over 10,000 hours of student mentorship experience. After graduating with a B.A. from Bates College, he started his education career in the public school districts of San Antonio, TX. And all of his students can find the nonessential clause in that last sentence! Those students have ended up at John Hopkins, UVA, Richmond, JMU, UMD, U SoCal, Harvard, Georgetown, Emory, Middlebury, trade schools following a calling, and so on.
Over the past 7 years, he dedicated his time to the SAT, ACT, and college admissions process. He’s helped 8 students achieve perfect scores and helped propel record improvement of 12 points on the ACT and 440 on the SAT. With education changing, Jack sees a deeper opportunity to optimize the most influential aspect of education: self-discovery. Championing the development of “eternal learners,” Jack works to instill growth mindsets in all students, to find the joy in learning, and to take ownership of their own educational path.
